We pride ourselves on our careful selection of plantation-grown teak stems, each boasting a minimum maturity of 20 years and moisture content meticulously maintained at just 10-12%. These carefully nurtured lengths then undergo a precision transformation through our state-of-the-art Weining planes and moulding machines, ensuring consistently accurate and uniform cuts. All of these processes are carried out under the vigilant eye of our European standard quality control.

These exacting practices empower Timbex to consistently deliver a range of both bespoke and standard parquet cuts to our valued clients. Our standard finished cut dimensions include:

• 60 mm x 10 mm x 300/400 mm

• 75 mm x 14 mm x 400/500 mm

• 90 mm x 18 mm x 600/700/800/900 mm

Our teak parquet boasts a plane finished S4S surface, adhering to a minimum grading standard of Select A/B.

This grading standard signifies that our timber is:

• 100% clean of sap on the top face

• Allows for up to 20% sap on the under-face

• Permits closed knots of up to 4cm

• Does not include open knots, pinholes, stains, cracks, or rot

  
  

  
  

Our machining capabilities also allow for tongue & groove and end-matched finishing processes, should you wish to further enhance the dimensional attributes of our solid teak parquet.

When the time comes to dispatch our finished products, we prioritize safety and protection during transit. To achieve this, we carefully pack the materials onto Euro Pallets and are pleased to offer Freight on Board (FOB) deliveries at the loading port of Paranaguá, Brazil.

The packing volumes typically amount to around 18m3 (covering a range of 990m2 - 1,800m2 depending on product thickness) per 20-foot container. The ocean voyage from vessel departure to Europe is approximately 21 days.

For those with application requirements that demand shorter lead times, we maintain stock of our standard cuts at both our warehouses in the UK and Italy. This enables us to offer direct delivery to your facility within 48 hours of order confirmation.

Our production capacity allows us to supply up to 144m3 (equivalent to 8 x 20-foot containers) per month for export dispatch. However, direct deliveries to customer premises within Europe are contingent upon the stock levels within our warehouses at any given time.
